# Intro
Unlike merchant data on OSM, only admins can edit communities, which are stored directly in the BTC Map DB.

- Please verify the community is active and bitcoin only.
- We do not accept whole country communities. If submissions are made for whole-country communities then suggest creating a Community Organisation that multiple Communities can be tagged with.
- Overlapping and/or multiple Communities per city or region are perfectly reasonable.
